SERVICE / RECOVERY STRATEGY
Recovery Strategy for digital asset matters
Develop practical next steps through appropriate exchange, legal and authority routes.
Assess practical routes forward.
Consider potential next steps based on the available evidence, assets involved and relevant providers or jurisdictions. A strategy may identify information to preserve, exchange reporting routes, questions for independent legal counsel and appropriate authority-reporting options. Scope and any assistance with submissions must be agreed in writing.
What the work can deliver
Options memorandum, evidence checklist and suggested order of next steps.
The final scope, available data sources, networks, format and timing are agreed for the matter. A useful deliverable explains the source of each significant finding and the limits of the available information.
Working with your information
Start with a short account of the incident. After the scope is agreed, relevant records can be identified and an appropriate transfer route arranged. Do not send private keys, seed phrases or passwords.
Scope and expectations
CryptoDac cannot compel an exchange to freeze or release assets, reverse a blockchain transfer or guarantee restitution. Exchange cooperation, legal remedies and authority action have their own requirements. Legal advice must come from appropriately qualified counsel.
